About Us.

Emantes – International Lgbtqia+ Solidarity is a Social Cooperative Enterprise that was founded in July 2018 by LGBTQIA+ refugees and experienced volunteers on the LGBTQIA+ asylum seeker and refugee field and it is based in Athens, Greece. Emantes (they) were created as the response of the expressed needs and wishes that emerged from participatory bottom-up sessions of the “Lgbtqia+ Refugees Welcome” collective, founded in 2016.

Our Mission.

To provide material, legal and psychosocial support to adult LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers and refugees as well as to inform and raise awareness of the civil society on issues faced by LGBTQIA+ refugee community.

Adult LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers, refugees and migrants.
