About Us.

LHI Greece runs a community center near the two refugee camps in the city of Serres. Located on an outdoor field, our 5 big wooden tents serve as safe spaces where we provide psychosocial support to our community members.

Here, we operate a Female Friendly Space (FFS), Child Friendly Space (CFS), Education program, Arts and Recreation activities, as well as weekly distribution of food and hygiene items. We embrace a community-led approach and count about 40 community volunteers! In order to best support them and the communities we serve, we also run a Community Engagement and Professional Development program.
